From: Philip and Rita Force4Good
Dear Ones,
We would like to start by sending you a BIG wholehearted THANK YOU for
helping us to transition successfully from last year into the new year.
We were able to reach our goals, and bring joy and relief to many
families. We welcome you to the update on our activities for the first
month of the year. Together we are many our part of the world a better
place, and we are changing lives! We thank you once again, and will
always be very grateful for your love and support which is making it
all possible.
BACK TO SCHOOL:
As you will see from the following photos we were able to help a few
families get the needed supplies for their children to return to
school. Two families were helped with some needed stationery, one of
them a high school student, the other a first grader. Another family
requested help with school shoes for their two sons, and yet another
single mother asked for outfits and school bags for her two young
daughters, and help in sending them to an Early Childhood Educational
center while she is away at work. Her mother, who passed away in the
month of December, used to look after them, but new arrangements are
now being looked into. There is a possibility of one, if not both of
the little girls being sponsored. (Please pray for a positive outcome
concerning this. Thank you).
PS: We were specifically asked for something warm with long
sleeves! :)
BRIGHT STARS KITCHEN -- NOMZAMO:
This month Fransina was blessed with a much-needed 50-liter cooking
pot. And as you can see below a large shopping for the soup kitchen she
runs. We thank our donors for helping to make it possible. PS: In the
pot are 20 liters of fresh whole milk that was just collected as well.
The new pot is filled and put to good use. Approx. 300 people
benefit daily from this kitchen
Here is an example of one of the meals served.—The rotis were also
donated by Lions.
Distribution in full swing—after everyone has had their hands
disinfected!
ANGELS' KITCHEN -- SIR LOWRY'S PASS
VILLAGE:
We are happy to say that the Angels’ Kitchen also received a much
needed pot—this one 40 liters and also delivered full of milk! We
praise the Lord for His generosity!
Seen here
above and below is some shopping we did for the Angels’ Kitchen this
month as well!
CLOTHING:
We also want to thank you dear friends who donate clothing via us for
this poor community. Jessica and her team will be distributing this
time to the needy in their vicinity!
HELPING HAND:
We want to thank you dear friends who run a charity called, ‘Helping
Hand’ located in Cape Town for once again assisting us. Here they
donated a bakkie-full of meat cut offs. They often call us for supplies
whenever they have a surplus.
BRIGHT
STARS--NOMZAMO:
Happy Helpers assisting in putting the supplies away!

The meat donated her is then shared with one of the many new kitchens
that have opened up in the village!
LIFE-GROUPS:
We are presently running 5 Bible study groups, (two of which are with
just one individual). Above: Nomzamo, below: Gordon’s Bay, and in the
photo on the bottom Sir Lowry’s Pass!
WEET-BIX:
Altogether 10 extra-large boxes were distributed between Nomzamo and
Sir Lowry’s Pass!
MILK:
100 liters
of fresh milk was distributed between Nomzamo and the Sir Lowry’s Pass
village.
WOOLIES:
Woolies have increased their help to Joyce’s kitchen to where they
collect 6 times a week from them!
BREAD AND PIZZA BASES:
We greatly appreciate the weekly donation of bread and pizza bases. It
is an excellent addition for the soup kitchens to serve along with the
soup, and greatly appreciated by the people receiving it.
GRACELIFE:
This is a time of praise and worship. We greatly appreciated the
enthusiasm of some of the little ones as they wholeheartedly join in.
This month I taught on ‘True Praise and Worship’, and Philip taught on
‘Relationship with God’. In the photo below Philip is welcoming
everyone and encouraging them to also greet one another!
KIDZ' CHURCH:
We have a precious team of very dedicated ladies all taking turns
teaching the children. We teach two by two. Seen below is one of our
regular meetings where we get together and touch base!
MILA'S KITCHEN:
Mila’s Kitchen is one of several kitchens benefitting from the weekly
bread and pizza bases donation. Here people are seen starting to line
up waiting to be served!
OTHER:
Some dear friends donated a deep freezer to us. We were able to in turn
bless this charity, which did not have a deep freezer, and was in
urgent need of one! Thank you to each and everyone of you who help us
make a difference.
