Merry
Christmas!
Dear Ones,
We
wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2021!
With this greeting we want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas
and to let you know that you are in our prayers. We pray that you
will all be kept safe and be able to enjoy the festive season in
spite of the adjustments that may have to be made to our hopes and
expectations.
Meanwhile we also want to give you an update on our current
preparations. But first of all we THANK each and every one of you
who have helped in some form or another. We are accomplishing the
ministry together, and we are making a difference in every sphere:
physically, emotionally and spiritually. Thank you for your
participation!
We recently sent you a list of the various projects and goals we
had/have for the Christmas season. There has been good progress in
each of those areas and we are nearly there.
Meanwhile another needy project has surfaced. Due to the lock-down
and the recent 2nd wave of the virus, we are not able to cook and
serve a Christmas meal at our Sir Lowry's Pass Church. It has
therefore been decided that we would rather prepare a small food
parcel per person enabling each recipient to prepare a nice meal
for themselves for Christmas Day. We are planning to prepare 100 parcels.
If you have not been able to assist this far, but still would like
it is not too late. We would love to hear from you. You can find
all our contact details below.
We would like to end by once again thanking each one of you who
have been /are enabling the ministry to carry on. Please know that
you are greatly appreciated!
With many thanks and much appreciation,
Philip and Rita
In closing we wish you all a
Happy New Year 2021!
Let's remember how the Lord kept us all through 2020 in spite of
everything that went on. And although the future might seem bleak,
let's not be anxious about HOW we are going to make it. Let's
rather remember Whose we are and think in terms of WHO is going to
keep us. He Who parted the Red Sea, rained manna from heaven,
provided water from a rock, etc, etc. He has promised each of His
children that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and He
said," And, lo, I am with always, even unto the end of the
world".(Matthew 28:20)
If you have not yet made Jesus your Lord and Savior then this is a
perfect time to do so. Simply pray this small, but heartfelt
prayer. And if you are not sure, ask Jesus to show you if He truly
is who He says He is, and He will. Receiving Jesus will be the best
thing you have ever done. You will receive His gift of everlasting
life, the most precious gift of all!
“Dear Jesus,
I believe that you are the Son of God and that you died for me and
rose again. I ask you to please forgive me for all my sins, and I
now receive You as my personal Lord and Savior. Amen!”
If you just prayed this prayer you are now a child of God, ready to
begin an awesome journey through life with Him! Please let us know
as we would love to help you get off to a good start with Jesus!
Isaiah 9:6:
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the
government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called
Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The
Prince of Peace.”
Acts 4:12:
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other
name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
